The RAISE organization programs encompass a wide range of activities designed to address and mitigate protection issues within the communities. RAISE conducts extensive community outreach and education initiatives, including awareness campaigns and workshops, to inform individuals about their rights and the protection services available to them. Direct support services provided by RAISE include counseling and psychological support for individuals affected by violence, abuse, or trauma, as well as legal assistance to help navigate the legal system. The NGO also focuses on capacity building by training local stakeholders, such as authorities and community leaders, on protection issues and best practices, and by building community networks that foster a protective environment. Advocacy is another critical component of RAISE’s Protection work, with efforts directed towards policy advocacy to strengthen protection policies and legislation at various levels, and community mobilization to prevent protection issues such as domestic violence or child labor. In emergency situations, RAISE provides immediate crisis intervention, coordinating with law enforcement and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive protection services. Monitoring and reporting activities involve collecting and analyzing data on protection issues and documenting incidents of rights violations to raise awareness and advocate for justice.
